Acknowledgment of Risk
By registering for and participating in classes, workshops, and community excursions offered by The Grove, a program of Big Apple Coaching LLC, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
General Participation: Participation in classes and workshops involves activities that may include, but are not limited to, group discussion, hands-on exercises, use of computers and digital tools, and other instructional activities. While we take reasonable precautions to ensure a safe learning environment, participation in any activity carries inherent risks.
Community Excursions: Certain classes include excursions to museums, cultural institutions, public spaces, and other community sites throughout New York City. Participation in community excursions involves additional risks, including but not limited to risks associated with travel on public transportation, walking in urban environments, weather conditions, and conditions at third-party venues. Participants are responsible for their own safety and well-being during transit to and from excursion sites.
Assumption of Risk
By registering for a class, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation, including risks that may arise from the negligence of other participants or conditions at third-party venues. You acknowledge that Big Apple Coaching LLC does not own or control third-party excursion venues and is not responsible for conditions, policies, or incidents at those locations.
Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of the State of New York, you release and hold harmless Big Apple Coaching LLC, its owners, members, employees, instructors, agents, and volunteers from any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorney's fees) arising out of or related to your participation in any class, workshop, or community excursion, except to the extent caused by the gross negligence or willful misconduct of Big Apple Coaching LLC.
Medical Conditions
We do not require disclosure of medical information. However, if you have a medical condition, allergy, or physical limitation that may affect your participation or safety, we encourage you to let us know so we can make reasonable accommodations. You are responsible for determining whether participation in any activity is appropriate for you.
Media Release
From time to time, we may photograph or record class sessions and community excursions for use on our website, social media, and marketing materials. By participating, you consent to the use of your likeness in such materials. If you prefer not to be photographed or recorded, please let us know before the start of class and we will make every effort to accommodate your request.
Agreement
By completing your registration, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to this Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk. If you are registering on behalf of another person, you confirm that you have the authority to agree to these terms on their behalf.
